ISO 14001:2015 EMS Certification:

Secure Our Future

Organisations taking responsibility and systemically managing their pollution, emissions, and recycling will be necessary to sustain their organisation long-term.

If your organisation has implemented an environmental management system aligned with ISO 14001:2015, you are working towards a better sustainable future that balances consumer demands and the prevention of pollution. True sustainability involves much more than a reduction of emissions; it involves re-targeted use of resources, waste, and wastewater. If implemented correctly, an EMS reduces operational costs, ensures legal clarity, and enables organisations to identify potential environmental issues at an early stage.

This explains why an ISO 14001:2015 EMS is effective and why certification audits are essential. During each audit, our experts collaborate with you to find errors, solutions, and potential for optimising your existing system.

Certification for Environmental Sustainability

Previously, environmental management was focused on monitoring on-site impact, but today we understand that for an environmental management system (EMS) to work efficiently and strategically, ensuring buy-in from staff and executives is essential to preventing negative environmental effects.

A certified EMS provides the support your organisation requires to stand out as sustainable and allows for continuous improvement. The ISO 14001:2015 EMS global standard is a tried and tested framework that has the potential to have various positive impacts on your organisation both on and off site.

EMS Certification Procedure - GTICS

Our quality management experts can guide you through the process of receiving certification for your EMS. A comprehensive view of our process includes:

This audit is completely optional and is completed to check your compliance with the ISO 14001:2015 standard. You will receive a detailed report going over all aspects of your compliance and non-conformances.

A certification audit is done to check if your EMS is aligned with the ISO 14001:2015 standard. This includes an in-depth overview of documentation, processes, practical application assessments, and an inspection of your Quality Management System.

If your EMS passes the certification audit, we are able to issue your organisation with the ISO 14001:2015 Quality Management System Certification.

We require annual surveillance audits to ensure your EMS is being continuously improved, that it is consistently benefiting your organization, and that it is still aligned with current amendments and requirements.

After three years, you will be required to do another in-depth audit on the same level as a certification audit to ensure your organisation is aligned with ISO 14001:2015 EMS requirements. If auditors are satisfied, you will be recertified against ISO 14001:2015 EMS.
